                                                      CANDIED POPCORN STARS

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • ⅓ c. light corn syrup
  • ⅓ c. water
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 c. Popped Corn
  • ⅓ c. red and/or green nonparells
  • ¼ c. cinnamon candies

Directions

  1. Combine sugar and next 3 ingredients in a heavy sauce pan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium; bring to a boil. Cook, without stirring, until candy thermometer registers 255 degrees F.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in salt and vanilla. Quickly pour mixture over popcorn; toss gently to coat. Add nonparells, tossing gently to combine.
  3. Moisten or grease hands. Working quickly, press the mixture into 5-inch star-shaped cookie cutter. If candied corn becomes too hard to shape, place in a warm (200 degrees F) oven for a few minutes to soften.
                                                     CHECKERBOARD COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 5 c. flour,
  • 3 tbsp. Dutch-process cocoa

Directions

  1. Make the dough: Beat the butter using a mixer set on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. Add the sugar gradually and continue to beat until pale and fluffy. Add the whole eggs one at a time and blend in the vanilla. Combine the salt and flour and stir it into the butter mixture. Remove half of the dough and set aside. Mix the cocoa into the remaining dough on low speed, until fully incorporated. Pat the vanilla and the chocolate doughs each into an 11- by 9-inch rectangle. Wrap each in plastic wrap and chill until firm.
  2. Make the checkerboards: Brush the vanilla dough with egg white and place the chocolate dough on top. Press gently and cut in half lengthwise. Brush one half with egg white and stack the remaining half on top, making certain the vanilla and chocolate doughs alternate. Cut the resulting stack in half lengthwise and set one stack aside. Slice one stack into thirds lengthwise and flip the middle stack over; lightly brush the sides with egg white and gently press together to form a checkerboard-patterned log. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until firm. Repeat with the remaining stack.
  3. Bake the cookies: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking pans with parchment paper. Slice a checkerboard log crosswise into 1/4-inch cookies. Place the cookies on the baking pans, 1 inch apart, until firm -- 12 to 15 minutes. Rotate pans once while baking. Cool completely on a rack. Cookies can be stored for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
                                                   SHORTCUT SUGAR COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 1 16.5-oz package refrigerated ready-made sugar cookie dough
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled, plus more for surface and pressing cookies
  • Glass with a 2-inch decorative bottom
  • Decorative sugar and candies

Directions

  1. On a well-floured surface knead dough until soft. Knead flour into dough until incorporated.
  2. On a floured surface, roll dough ⅜-inch thick. Cut cookies using a 2-inch round cutter. Dip the bottom of the glass in flour and firmly press cookies to create a pattern. Sprinkle with sanding sugar. Reroll dough as necessary.
  3. Bake according to package directions. Press candy into warm cookies. Cool completely on a wire rack.

What is Gudetama?

Do you ever hear about "Gudetama"? Well, I've heard of it, and really caught my attention. But seriously look at that kawaii picuture. Gudetama is actually cartoon egg yolk, from Japan. It shivers with sadness. Gudetama may hate the world beyond its shell. But the world — within Japan’s borders, at least — sure loves Gudetama.Ooh,Gudetama just wanna to sleep. I know that feeling! Gudetama's favourite words are : "Leave me alone" or "I hate being woken up".


Gudetama became popular throughout Japan and all have heard of Gudetama's products.

White rabbit-China

White Rabbit is a chewy sweet that tastes of creamy vanilla and comes wrapped in an edible sheet made of sticky rice 




Jaffas - Australia

These small, round candies are more than just soft chocolate centers with hard orange-flavored, red shells: they are part of the national consciousness of both Australia and New Zealand. 



Brazil-Lacta

Dove-China

1.Pumpkin Sugar Cookies with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup unflavored vegetable shortening
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2/3 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Frosting
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 - 1 1/2 Tbsp milk
Directions
  • For the cookies:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger for 20 seconds, set aside.
  • In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter, shortening and sugar until pale and fluffy. Mix in egg yolks one at a time. Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract. With mixer set on low speed, slowly add in dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Scoop dough out and shape into 3 Tbsp balls (I just filled 1/4 cup 3/4 full). Place on Silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheets (you'll only be able to fit about 8 per sheet, these are fairly large cookies), and using your fingers lying flat, evenly flatten cookies into rounds until they are slightly under 1/2-inch thick. Bake in preheated oven 11 - 12 minutes. Cool on baking sheet several minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool frost with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting. Store in an airtight container.
  • For the frosting:
  • In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, whip together cream cheese and butter until pale and fluffy. Mix in cinnamon, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Mix in enough milk to reach desired consistency and mix until smooth and slightly fluffy.

Kako napraviti svoj svet

U Dz.R.R, Tolkinovoj prici stvoren je carobnjak Gandalf, ciji je duh besmrtan. Gandalfa je poslao Valar kako bi se borio u Srednjoj zemlji i protiv mracnih sila Saurona. Znamo da vase knjige  na polici nece pasti na vas dok spavate jer je Dz.K. Rovling stvorila reci Wingardium Leviosa. U "Alisi u Zemlji cuda" biljke razgovaraju, karte su bastari, a blizanci se zovu Sija i Vrat. Nijedan mec kvidica nije gotov dok se ne uhvati zlatna skrivalica. I konacno odgovor ovog sveta, zemlje, svemira i univerzuma je definitivno 42.

Ako zelite da napravite svoj svet, evo par dobrih saveta koj ce vam sigurno pomoci u ovoj izgradnji.




1. Morate odluciti da li cete pisati dogadjaje iz stvarnog sveta ili cete se ipak odabrati za fantastiku. Ali je takodje vazno da znate gde ste, u kom vremenu sadasnjost,proslost ili buducnost.



2. Smislite kako je i od cega svet nastao. Koji dogadjaji su uticali na pravljenje vaseg sveta ili mozete uzeti neki kontinent bilo da je to Azija, Afrika, Anarktik ili Australija.



3.Koja pravila vaze u vasem svetu, ima li gravitacije u vasem svetu? Koju vrstu vladavine ima ovaj svet? Ko ima moc, a ko ne? U sta ljudi veruju ovde, stvaraju li se mitovi uopste?




4.Nakon toga treba razmisliti o svakodnevnom zivotu ljudi (hm, mozda i ne ljudi). Kakvo je vreme ovde, cime se hrane, gde stanovnici zive, rade, idu u skolu? Kako se igraju i kakav je odnos medju njima. Da li komuniciraju svi govorom ili samo predmeti?A prevoz?




Zatim krenite da pravite mape, rodoslove, jezike, kulture, obicaje, zanimljvosti i jos toga.



Treba mnogo vremena da se razmisli o svim ovim pitanjima i naci idealne odgovore ,ali verujte mi ako odgovorite na sva ova pitanja na dobrom ste putu u izgradnji svog sveta!

Datum uoci dana svih svetih,31. oktobar, smatran je za pocetak nove keltske godine, odnosno obelezavao je kraj zetve. Na taj dan "Bog mrtvih" je pustao mrtve da se vrate na zemlju. S vremenom se ovaj paganski obicaj stopio sa hriscanskom religijom i bdenje je nastavilo da se slavi,pod imenom "Noc vestica".

Sta raditi tokom jeseni



1.Napravi fall dekoraciju. Uredi svoju sobu na jesenji nacin, koristi boje poput zacarane zute,narandzaste, crvene i tamno zelene.



2.Izgubi se u kukuruznom lavirintu. Ovo je najzabavniji deo!


3.Napravi pitu od jabuke ili bundeva.


4.Idi u nocnu setnju sa prijateljima, neka to ne bude setnja po putu gde ima svetla vec na nekom puteljku gde ce vam svetlost davati samo mesec i zvezde...


5.Nauci da pletes. Najlepsa zanimacija tokom haldnih, jesenjih dana jeste pletenje. Odmorite svoje mozak i napravite remek-pleteno-delo!


6.Odgledajte neki horor film.



7.Napisite kratku jesenju pricu. Preporucujem da za svako godisnje doba napisete bar po jednu pricu. Ubacite opis prirode!


8.Uplasite drugaricu/brata/sestru.


9.Izaberite ili napravite svoje Halloween-drvo. Neka bude cudno, jedinstveno.


10.Pricajte strasne price pored vatre.


Citajte svoju omiljenu knjigu.

Kako uciti?

Organizujte svoje vreme. Kako to uraditi?

1.korak-napravite listu stvari koje treba da uradite.
2.korak-nemojte biti lenji i potrudite se da sto pre izvrsite te zadatke.
3.korak-fokusirajte se na najproduktivnije doba dana.
4.korak-upravljajte vreme u koracima (vezbe).
5.korak-napravite odmor.
6.korak-pratite svoj napredak.
7.korak-preispisati listu.
8.korak-napravite vreme za zabavu.






Procitajte lekciju pre pocetka ucenja. Trebalo bi znati o cemo govori lekcija i o cemu cete uciti. Direktno ucenje je ucenje napamet!







Naspavajte se. Odvojite vreme u svom rasporedu za kratak san. Studije su pokazale da san pozitivno utice za polaganje ispita i za poboljsanje memorije i paznje.





Ocistite svoj um od svega sto nema veze s tim sto ucite. Ako imate mnogo toga na umu , odvojite malo vremena za sebe, pisite beleske o tome, kako se osecate pre neko sto pocnete sa ucenjem. To ce vam pomoci da ocistite svoj um i koncentrisite se na rad.



Eliminisite elektronske smetnje. Jedan od najgorih smetnja za ucenje jesu elektronski uredjaji. Oni su prikljuceni na drustvenim medijama, dobijate razna obavestenja preko svog telefona, a vas laptop je zakacen za internet. Upaljen televizor vam odvraca paznju i gubite koncentraciju.



Pronadjite dobro mesto za ucenje. Preuzmite kontorlu vaseg studijskog prostora. Naravno to ne mora biti unutra. Ako vam je zagusljivo ili biste radije bili na svezem vazduhu, stocic i stolica na travi su za to najbolji.



Pazljivo birajte muziku u pozadini. Muzika ne treba biti preglasna ali ne treba ni imati reci. Pogotovo to ne moze biti vasa omiljena pesma, jer cete se vi naravno. oduzeti kontroli i poceti da pevate. Preporucujem "Music for learning".



Uzinajte pametno. Jedite zdrave, hranljive namirnice, a ne hranu ispunjenom secerom ili mascu. Zdrave namirnice (voce, povrce) daju vam energije i osecate se punnim. Ako vam treba nesto slatko, preporucujem crnu cokoladu. Obavezno pijte vodu.



Koristite strategiju "lopova". Kada pocnete novo poglavlje dace vam informacije koje sadrze mnogo vise smisla i lakse cete nauciti ako koristite st. "lopova".

1.Pocnite sa naslovom: Sta ce naslov reci o poglavlju? Sta vi vec znate o temi? Sta treba da mislite dok citate?

2.Predjite na uvod: Sta ce uvodjenje reci o poglavlju?

3.Sledeci su naslovi i podnaslovi: Cemu sluze ovi naslovi i podnaslovi? Ukljucite svaki naslov i podnaslov u pitanju kako biste pomogli sebi dok citate.

4.Procitajte prvu recenicu svakog paragrafa. To su uglavnom generalne recenice i pomocice vam da shvatite o cemu se radi u poglavlju.

5.Bacite pogled na vizualnim modelima. To ukljucuje tabele, grafikone, dijagrame. Proucite svaku podvucenu ili obojenu rec.

6.Procitajte pitanja na kraju poglavlja i pokusajte da odgovorite.



Naglasavajte vazne detalje. Koristite flomastere, markere ili drvene boje. Obojene reci ce vam privuci paznju.


Sazeti ili ukratko izloziti materijal. Ako je u pitanju neka gradja u podnaslovu napisite gradja, a zatim rednim brojevima oznacite sta sve cini gradju.


Napravite mali podsetnik. Izvucite vazne detalje i napisite ih na kraticama. Neka vam te kartice uvek budu u folderu, knjizi ili svesci.


Napravi asocijaciju. Najefikasniji nacin za zadrzavanje informacija jeste da  se veze za postojece informacije koje vec imate u svom umu. Koriscenjem tehnike memorije mozete se setititi velike kolicin informacije.



Budite pazljivi na casu. Pisite beleske i slusajte profesora dok objasnjava.



Napravite stvari interesantnim. Napravite zabave dok ucite. Zaokruzite, bojite, uokvirite svaku vaznu informaciju.



Ucite prvo teze predmete. Imacete vise vremena da se pozabavite njima.


Napravite "study gorup". Grupa moze sadrzati 3-4 clana. Okupite se na dogovorenom mestu i nek svaki ucenik ima svoje kartice ( podsetnik) razgovarajte medjusobno o tome sta ucite.
